A few things to start off 2011

HAPPY 2011! 

I was so busy before the holidays, I decided to take some time off to enjoy time with family and friends.  2011 looks to be a very exciting year! 

We welcomed my new niece on Jan. 22nd, McKinley Faith.  She is such a doll and watching Brylee Taite and Annalise with her is absolutely priceless. 

I have been learning the ins and outs of couponing and so far I think I am doing pretty good.  I saved $230 this week alone!!

I had a special request for a new bow this week so I got all my things out and got busy.   I don't think I actually realized how much I missed making my tutus and bows until I got started a few nights ago.  So here are a few of the newbies I made over the weekend.  Hope you all have a blessed 2011!

Prayers, Prayers and More Prayers!

I must say that I am truly in awe at the way this community has come together over the last 6 months.  First I had the pleasure of witnessing 1st hand how generous and amazing the community was during the benefit for Jimmy Thompson Jr. and his family.  And now I am reminded yet again how wonderful it is to see a community come together for a common cause with prayers and support going up for Korley Davis and her family.  I know we serve a great and powerful God and my faith is reaffirmed every second I witness the faith that others have in our Lord and Savior.  All I can say is WOW, not only am I proud to say I serve a God that with him all things are possible but I am proud to say I live in a community with such a caring heart and strong faith as well.  Prayers are going up for Korley Davis, her family and all those who have been touched in some way by this fabulous little lady and her will, strength and courage to fight!
